About Me
My name is Toivo Lainevool, but most people call me “Deutsch”. I was born and raised in Toronto, and currently live in Los Angeles. I have been a professional software developer for over 16 years, specializing in object-oriented and distributed computing and I love using agile methods. I am a co-founder of New Iron Group, an assemblage of passionate developers building great software, headquartered in Austin, Texas. These days we mostly deal with agile methods, distributed computing and turning complex problems into simple solutions. (BTW: If you’re a great developer looking for a job, or you need some great developers, let me know.)
I have been dabbling in Web development since before the first Internet bubble appeared. My wife, Michele, and I run several small websites and I like to try out different ways of monetizing them. A lot of what I learn and experience, I write on AdMoolah Blog.
