It is 8 years since your first site launch and thing are now quite different. The competition is so huge that even if you pick the right niche for your site, it needs more then just a good content to survive. Good SEO is priority. Google is just in the process of adjusting its algorithm to acknowledge more the SEO in-page efforts, so I would add ti to your post suggestion + solid backlink building strategy as a wining concept. <a href="http://www.makeliterature.com/blog/literature-questions-response">Literature Response</a> I think your last comment explains the background. Like I said I have a site that proves that you can get a good ranking with knowing SEO. I built a site in 2000 with no idea of what SEO meant. I haven't "tweaked it" for SEO since then, and it is still on the first page of Google's results for the keywords you would expect it to be there for. Thanks for the comment Malcom.
